Living Grace Newsletter | August 2025

On the 5th Sunday of this month, August 31st, we will be holding our worship service in the Swanton High School's auditorium. This will be one service only at 10:30am. The worship team will have a traveling set they'll work with, much like what we do when we have outdoor services. There will be some form of activity children can do in their seats, but there will not be any children's church at the high school. You won't want to miss this time of corporate worship, as we invite all of Swanton's community to join us in lifting our voices to the Lord and learning from God's holy word. Invite your family and friends!

Living Grace will be hosting a booth at the Corn Fest again this year on Saturday, August 9th from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM! This is a great evangelism and outreach opportunity. We will be passing out bottled water and Gospel tracts, offering face painting for the kids, and having a gift card giveaway! Pastor Jim will have a short evangelism training, immediately after Aug 3rd's 10:30 service, to help equip volunteers for sharing the Gospel. Please click the following link to sign up to help:

Our Fall Small Group Fair will be coming the first two Sundays in September. If you're a former small group leader or you desire to become one, please contact the church office with your ideas and curriculum, prior to the fair. If you're considering wanting to take part in a small group, please plan on perusing the tables during the fair and making a choice(s) for your Fall small group(s). Small groups are one of the best sources of fellowship in the church body and they help to build great communities in the church of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to plug into a small group this Fall.

Every first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, we gather at the church for a time of worship and prayer. Our prayer meeting this month will be on August 5th. Join us for an uplifting hour to your week.

Our women’s ministry meets on the 3rd or 4th Mondays of each month (Sept - May), from 6:30 - 8:00 PM at the church. This ministry is designed to be a gift to the women in our church as a time to simply relax, enjoy a snack/dessert, and have fun! Our teen group meets on Sundays from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the church. Anyone between the ages 13-18 are welcome! They have awesome trips and events going on as well as a goal to understand what it means to be a Christian in today’s world for teens.

Our young adult group meets virtually on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 7:00 PM. This is a time of fellowship, Bible study, and devotion. If you're just out of high school, a 20-something, or "young at heart", this is the group for you!
